A graduate of Telecom ParisTech (formerly the National Higher School of Telecommunications– Paris) in 2001, Alexandre Ribeiro Dias began his career as a research engineer, within a large American company, with main activities the definition of multi-antenna WLAN solutions, specifically in the field of standardization of the IEEE 802.11n protocol. Alexandre Ribeiro Dias then continued, within the same company, to develop as a leader in the field of 2G / 3G mobile telephony.
After having acquired solid scientific skills in the fields of telecommunications and embedded systems, in 2007, he joined the Schmit-Chrétien Firm, from which the IPSIDE Firm emerged.
Industrial Property Attorney and European Patent Attorney, graduated from education “Patent Litigation in Europe”, he intervenes on all the issues related to the procurement, the valorization and the defense of patents of invention on behalf of customers in the fields of the automobile, the telecommunications and the space industries. He also performs, within the scope of IPEC (“International Patent Evaluation Consortium”), patent criticality assessments, in particular with respect to 3GPP mobile telephony standards.
