On 16 June 2020 CONSULEGIS organized an extremely valuable webinar with 7 experts of our IT and Data Protection Group. Carys Thompson (Keebles), David Schenker (Advotech Advokaten), Gwendal Barbaut (Ipside), Katherine Lewis (Meister Seelig & Fein), Laura Borzoni (Lawyalty) and Lucia Myriam Netti (Horizons) held an amazing online roundtable moderated by Bart van den Brande (Sirius Legal), where they discussed some of the most important facts that companies need to know in order to be compliant with data protection regulations across jurisdictions. Many interesting topics were addressed, such as the impact that Brexit will have on data protection; some lessons we have learnt since the implementation of the GDPR in Europe and the enormous impact that the Covid-19 pandemic is having on data protection around the globe, among others.

It was fantastic to count with around 50 attendees, from inside and outside of CONSULEGIS, who participated actively in the discussion and shared their questions and concerns.
